Crafton Tull is seeking a Landscape Architect Project Manager in Oklahoma City to lead entitlements, zoning, and permitting for development projects. You will drive masterplanning, site planning, and client coordination from concept to implementation, coordinating with regulatory agencies and internal teams.

The role requires a professional license and significant experience in landscape architecture, with strong communication, leadership, and design skills to deliver complex urban projects.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited college or university.
• Five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certification as Registered Landscape Architect licensed to practice in your state and able to become certified in other states as required.

LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT PROJECT MANAGER | URBAN PLANNER SUMMARY:

This position will lead entitlements, zoning, and permitting effort for development projects in the Oklahoma City, OK office. Responsible for research, masterplanning, site planning, graphic production, presentations, public speaking and meetings. Oversees project execution through site planning and design, city and agency submissions, land development coordination, permitting, and client management from initial concept through implementation by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Provides project management including preparation of plans, scheduling, budgeting, projections, reports, billing, quality control, and progress IAW company policy/procedures, regulatory guidelines, and professional standards.
• Leads the preparation of Planned Zoning District booklets, entitlement documentation, presentations, and all necessary materials for commercial and multi-family development projects.
• Produces colored, rendered masterplans for new commercial and multi-family development projects.
• Prepares project schedules, develops scope of work, drafts contract, and integrates design elements into unified plans for client review and approval.
• Researches and prepares proposals for clients.
• Coordinates with Accounting to set up new projects and prepares invoices for clients.
• Manages project schedules, staff utilization and coordinates with Org. leader on progress.
• Assists the client in negotiations with consultants, contractors, regulatory agencies, and vendors.
• Oversees the construction administration of each project.
• Coordinates projects with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal departments.
• Forecasts workload assignments and allocates resources to develop projects.
• Directs activities of landscape architects, landscape designers, associates, interns and technicians engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents.
• Prepares operational and regulatory reports as required by company policy and regulatory agencies and ensures all are submitted to meet deadlines.
• Makes business development calls or emails to existing and potential clients to assist in the company marketing effort.
• Ensures visibility of the company through attendance at public meetings, participation in civic organizations, and participation in public service and charitable activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of project team members. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience

Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as algebraic functions and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
