Job summary

Gordon M. Buitendorp Associates, Inc. is seeking a Landscape Architect to support project teams within a large architectural and engineering firm.

You will work with Landscape Architecture and Civil Engineering peers, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of architects, engineers, and designers to support clients nationwide. We value initiative, ownership of projects, and the ability to iteratively improve processes while delivering high-quality design concepts and construction documents.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Landscape Architecture or related field from an accredited program.
6-8+ years' experience at an Architectural, Landscape Architectural, or Civil Engineering firm.
Licensed or on the path to licensure.
Strong time management, scheduling and budgeting skills.
Ability to lead and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and work independently.
Strong design skills in athletic, playground and recreation environments.
Understanding site circulation for vehicles, buses and pedestrians.
Experience with higher education and master planning is appreciated.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion and Adobe Suite.

Collaborate with multiple teams on varied project types and scales.
Advance growth in core markets, leveraging technical knowledge and client interaction.
