Job description

We are currently searching for an experienced Landscape Architect Designer to support our Southeast Region located in Miami or Fort Lauderdale, FL.

To be considered for this position, applicants must have, at minimum, a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.

What you’ll be doing:

• Prepare presentation packages using 3D modeling, graphic design, and desktop publishing software
• Conduct research and prepare site reviews and analyses
• Prepare construction documents using AutoCAD and/or Microstation
• Participate in site analysis, project meetings, and construction administration
• Support marketing and business development efforts in development graphics and web-based communication

What you need to have:

• B.S. or M.S. in Landscape Architecture
• 4 - 8 years of experience within an Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or Planning Firm preferred, but other levels of candidate experience will be considered
• Technical working knowledge of:
• Microstation (Preferred) or AutoCAD / Civil 3D
• Adobe Suite
• SketchUp
• ArcGIS
• Knowledge of local jurisdiction and state permitting / approval processes
• Knowledge of regional plant materials
• Interest in becoming licensed; knowledge of ENVISION, LEED, or SITES principles are a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
• Demonstrated design ability, creative thinking, and technical proficiency
• Ability to work immediately in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis
• Self-motivated with the ability to meet individual goals and work in a team environment
• Ability to multi-task and adapt in a collaborative setting
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening; federal guidelines apply
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR)
