Walnut Hill Landscape Company, Inc. is seeking a Residential Landscape Architect or Designer with a strong background in high-end residential projects.

The role focuses on elegant, functional outdoor spaces and sustainable practices, working with design/build and maintenance teams to deliver exceptional client experiences. The candidate will lead design efforts, develop planting plans, and present concepts to clients while collaborating with sales and installation teams to ensure design intent

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing high-end residential landscapes.
• Strong expertise in plant materials, horticulture, and sustainable design.
• Experience with design software: Vectorworks, SketchUp, Lumion or similar.
• Excellent communication and client presentation skills required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for high-end residential landscapes from concept through completion.
• Develop detailed planting plans and select plant materials suited to client needs and site conditions.
• Collaborate with sales, project managers, and installation crews to ensure design intent is executed.
• Present design concepts and proposals to clients clearly and professionally.
• Stay current on industry trends, plant materials, and sustainable design practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and client experience.

We are seeking a talented Residential Landscape Architect or Designer with a strong background in high-end residential projects. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of plant materials and a passion for creating elegant, functional, and sustainable outdoor environments. You will work closely with our design/build and maintenance teams to deliver exceptional client experiences and beautiful landscapes that stand the test of time.

• Lead design efforts for high-end residential landscape projects from concept through completion

• Collaborate with sales, project managers, and installation crews to ensure design intent is executed flawlessly
• Present design concepts and proposals to clients with professionalism and clarity

• Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and client experience

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing high-end residential landscapes
• Strong expertise in plant materials, horticulture, and sustainable landscape design
• Proficiency with design software (Vectorworks, SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
• Excellent communication and client presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
• Degree or certification in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, or related field preferred
