Job summary

Santa Rita Landscaping in Phoenix is seeking a skilled Tree Groundsman to assist tree climbers with removal of trees, trimming of branches, and general maintenance of trees and shrubs. You will work closely with a safety‑minded crew to support high‑quality landscape care.

About the Role

Join a team that values hard work, safety, and growth. We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Tree Groundsman to join our team. The Tree Groundsman will be responsible for assisting the tree climbers in the removal of trees, trimming of branches, and general maintenance of trees and shrubs. The ideal candidate will have experience in tree care and a strong commitment to safety.

What You'll Do

• Assist tree climbers in the removal of trees and trimming of branches
• Operate and maintain equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and stump grinders
• Perform general maintenance of trees and shrubs, including pruning and fertilizing
• Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

Work Hours

• Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM--2:00 PM
• Weekend or on-call hours possible
