Job summary

KP Aviation seeks a Product Line Manager for the Landing Gear GEAR asset line. You will shape strategy, drive growth, manage profitability, and oversee acquisitions, repair events, and inventory optimization. Collaborate with Repairs, Operations, Technical and Executive Leadership to maximize asset performance and expand our Gear market presence.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Landing Gear lifecycle and aftermarket practices for major platforms.
• Aviation supply chain experience, including repair, overhaul, and asset management.
• Strong forecasting, stocking strategies, and demand planning capabilities.
• Experience with ERP/WMS/CRM systems and data-driven decision making.
• Ability to translate data into actionable pricing and market actions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans for the GEAR line to hit revenue and margin goals.
• Evaluate Gear opportunities including whole units, modules, and repair events.
• Lead asset valuation, acquisition strategy, and buy package analysis.
• Create proformas, pricing models, and financial forecasts for inventory and transactions.
• Partner with Repairs and Technical teams for repair events and ROC activity.
• Monitor market trends and competitive intelligence around GEAR assets.
• Own sales plan and drive performance to annual operating plan (AOP).
• Manage inventory movement and aging material strategies.
• Build and maintain supplier, repair vendor, and customer relationships.
• Track KPIs: gross margin, inventory turns, profitability metrics.
• Identify new opportunities for product line expansion and growth.
• Other duties as assigned.
