Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in landfill, waste, construction, or industrial operations.
• Proven ability to lead teams, drive performance, and maintain a safe work environment.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of environmental regulations, operational compliance, and equipment management.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Landfill Operator Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all landfill operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Lead and develop site personnel, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Manage landfill planning, waste disposal activities, environmental systems, and site improvement projects.
• Coordinate with maintenance and leadership teams to maximize equipment performance and achieve operational targets.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permit requirements, and company safety standards.
• Will be under 1 Supervisor and will oversee 11 direct reports (heavy equipment operators, scale house operators, general laborers)
