Job summary

Rumpke of Ohio, Inc. is seeking a Landfill Laborer to perform grounds upkeep, operate basic equipment, and provide safe, efficient support at our Cincinnati facility. You may mow, trim, repair fences, assist with yard boxes, and maintain odor control while following all safety and regulatory policies.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools and basic equipment.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal communication with customers and teams.
• Must understand and communicate in English; follow safety training and directions.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility grounds upkeep (mowing, trimming, litter removal) in a safe, compliant manner.
• Build, repair and maintain fences and erosion controls; assist with ADC and yard operations.
• Operate skid steer, sweeper, fuel and other trucks as needed and direct traffic around the landfill.
• Assist maintenance staff, perform basic custodial duties, and support various lines of business as required.
