Job summary

DTE Energy is seeking a field technician to perform day-to-day maintenance and repair of a landfill gas collection system in Angleton, TX. The role supports the GCCS Manager and requires the ability to work independently and follow safety procedures.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and at least one year of mechanical or construction experience. Proficiency with MS Office is expected, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• At least one year of mechanical or construction experience.
• Ability to analyze problems, develop solutions and recommend sound alternatives.
• Ability to work overtime including call outs outside of normal business hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of a landfill gas collection system on a day-to-day basis.
• Inspections and maintenance on wells, pumps, well head assemblies, air and force main, and piping repairs (<6
• Perform well pump repairs and rebuilds as needed.
• Perform well pump installation per PM schedule.
• Complete other activities as directed by GCCS Manager.
