Job summary

DTE Energy in Angleton, TX seeks a skilled technician to maintain and operate two landfills' gas processing facilities, converting raw biogas into renewable natural gas injected into a pipeline. You will report to the Regional Operations Manager and collaborate with the Controls Manager to ensure safe, reliable plant operation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial experience and/or Electrician experience with continuous skill advancement.
• Solid background in instrumentation and controls – flow meters, control valves, PLC, calibration, VFD, 4-20 mA signals, gas chromatographs.

Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance on compressors, pipelines, conduct electrical troubleshooting, create operational reports, and safely operate a complex renewable natural gas processing plant while maximizing profitability.
• Use CMMS to schedule and track maintenance activities and manage critical spares inventory.
• Calibrate tests and maintain instrumentation, control systems and electrical equipment.
• Operate motor control centers, motor operated valves, generators and related equipment.
• Coordinate and monitor contractors for planned tasks.
• Identify safety hazards and support environmental compliance initiatives.
