Job summary

Redwood Materials is seeking a Land Use Engineer to lead early-stage land use and development due diligence for our energy storage projects in California. You will coordinate across Business Development, Policy, Product, engineering, and project controls to produce a defensible development basis and pursue necessary permits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Planning or related field.
• Experience in land development, environmental review, or civil disciplines.
• Familiarity with NEPA and state environmental review acts.

Responsibilities

• Own scope, resourcing, and schedule for land use and development due diligence.
• Coordinate across Business Development, Policy, Product, and engineering teams.
• Lead environmental due diligence under NEPA and state acts.
• Drive entitlements, zoning, permits, and design review.
• Identify and secure utility service coordination and agreements.
• Deliver basis of design package to detailed design.
