Wallace Montgomery has a unique opportunity for a licensed Virginia Land Surveyor to work independently and remotely in the Northern Virginia and Southern Maryland area. We are looking for someone to help us expand the Plats and Surveys department in our growing Virginia market. This is a ground-floor opportunity with departmental leadership potential! The ideal candidate will perform field survey tasks and office processing. This position offers growth and leadership opportunities within the Virginia Survey group, including managing new hires, staff, and projects. The group has a Mid-Atlantic footprint, and all equipment is new and high-quality. We support participation in Survey Professional Organizations.

The candidate should have experience in topographic surveys, metes and bounds surveys, Lidar scanning, GPS control networks, and other surveying aspects. Knowledge of robotic total stations and VDOT standards is preferred. Work will be processed in MicroStation ORD.
