Job summary

CES Group Engineers, LLP in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Survey Project Manager with 5+ years of land surveying experience to lead a portfolio of boundary, ALTA, topo, design and construction surveys.

The role directs field crews, manages resources and budgets, coordinates with clients and office staff, and ensures quality control of survey data. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years or more of land surveying experience is required.
• Proficiency with field surveying techniques and survey office practices.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Carlson Survey software is required. Trimble Business Center and MicroStation are a plus.

CES Group Engineers, LLP, an award-winning multi-discipline firm serving the Carolinas and beyond, is seeking a Survey Project Manager with five (5) or more years of relevant experience to join our growing team in Charlotte, NC. While this opportunity currently exists in our Charlotte, NC location, applicants across the Carolinas may apply as well.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to perform survey calculations and direct the daily activities of field survey crews, while managing resources and budgets for multiple concurrent projects, including, but not limited to, boundary, ALTA, topographic, design and construction surveying assignments

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying or Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred, but not required
• Licensed Professional Land Surveying License (PLS) in North Carolina or South Carolina is a plus, but not required
• Five (5) years or more of land surveying experience is required, including demonstrated proficiency with field surveying techniques and survey office practices
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Carlson Survey software is required. Experience with Trimble Business Center and MicroStation is a plus
• Good interpersonal skills and well-developed oral and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively interface with the Geomatics Division Manager, other project team members, clients and office staff
