Genuine Search Group is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join our growing engineering and surveying team in Alabama. The role focuses on boundary and topographic surveys for residential, commercial, municipal, and infrastructure projects, with responsibilities spanning field data collection, drafting, and coordination with engineers and clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional land surveying experience.
• Experience with boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction staking surveys.
• Proficiency with GPS/GNSS, robotic total stations, and data collectors.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and survey data processing software.
• Strong knowledge of boundary law and property research.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to perform fieldwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, subdivision, and construction surveys.
• Conduct field surveys using GPS/GNSS, robotic total stations, data collectors.
• Perform construction staking, site layout, and as-built surveys.
• Research property records to establish boundaries.
• Prepare and review survey plats, boundary maps, and legal descriptions.
• Process field data and assist with drafting in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, contractors, and clients.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with surveying standards.
• Assist scheduling, field crew coordination, and project documentation.
• Support GIS mapping, aerial surveys, and hydrographic data collection.
