Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. seeks a Land/Row Representative in Texas to handle ROW title, permitting, and acquisition processes. The role requires independent work, strong knowledge of property valuation, survey drawings, and alignment sheets.

The Senior Land Representative will negotiate ROW options, easements, and related documents, maintain detailed records, and support project teams in field and office settings. Travel is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• TREC License is required.
• Associate's degree preferred or at least 5 years relevant experience.
• Must have valid Driver's license.
• SR/WA or other IRWA designation preferred.
• Able to obtain State Notary Public.
• State Real Estate Licensing, if required by State.
• Five (5) years of experience as a ROW agent or related ROW position.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including spreadsheet and word processing.
• Must be detail oriented and have excellent analytical and quantitative skills.

Responsibilities

• Research contact information and initiate contact with owners of interest in property affected by project.
• Capable of understanding and communicating property appraisals and valuations to landowners.
• Secure permission to enter properties from landowners and tenants.
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with project affected landowners.
• Negotiate ROW options, easements, fee interest, and curative documents as directed by ROW Supervisor or project documents.
• Develop construction lines from conditions placed on ROW by landowners/tenants.
• Maintain a detailed diary of contacts and prepare weekly activity reports.
• Maintain a log of all payments.
• Estimate and negotiate damage settlements as required.
• Represent client at community project meetings as needed.
• Support construction activities and coordinate with landowner attorney negotiations.
• Obtain documents from local county public records as needed.
• Assist in project mail outs, file prep, and data needs.
• Document all ROW activities; work with land databases and digital filing systems.
