Job summary

Cache County is seeking a Mapper I or II to join the Recorder's Office. The role involves drafting and analyzing land ownership records, parcel abstracts, and ownership plats to meet state statutes and county policies.

The position requires an Associate's Degree or equivalent, CAD drafting experience (AutoCAD preferred), and 1+ year of land title records experience. Mapper II adds a cadastral mapping certification and 2+ years of Mapper I experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent required.
• Experience with CAD drafting and AutoCAD preferred.
• Experience with land title records or land development.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and update land ownership records, parcel abstracts, and ownership plats.
• Coordinate subdivision plat reviews with county planning departments and compute recording fees.
• Process plats, assign parcel numbers, and verify legal descriptions in the recorder system.
