Job summary

Chevron is offering a Land Intern position with opportunities across several sites, including Covington, LA. You will gain hands-on experience within an asset team and contribute to real projects with direct business impact.

You will develop an understanding of upstream and downstream operations, support negotiations with landowners, perform title research, and interact with regulatory agencies under the guidance of a mentor. This internship paves the way for potential fulltime opportunities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of upstream and downstream oil and gas through a Land project.
• Gain insight into Chevron’s operations, people, and culture with exposure to New Energies.
• Support negotiations with external partners and landowners and assist in drafting agreements.
• Perform title research and analysis for various wells.
• Provide Land support to multidisciplinary teams for informed decisions.
• Interact with federal and state agencies on regulatory issues.
• Work with a mentor to receive guidance and professional development.
• Present project learnings to senior leadership at internship end.
