Job summary

Prestige Land in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Land Entitlements Manager to oversee zoning, land use, and entitlement approvals for development projects. You will coordinate with government agencies, consultants, and internal teams to ensure regulatory compliance and timely approvals.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in land development or municipal planning, with strong communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Real Estate, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in land development, entitlements, or municipal planning.
• Strong knowledge of zoning laws, permitting processes, and environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to work with government agencies and stakeholders.
• Ability to read and interpret zoning regulations, legal documents, and development agreements.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with GIS mapping, permitting software, and project management tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the zoning, land use, and entitlement approval processes for development projects.
• Work closely with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and submit applications for rezoning, land use changes, variances, and permits.
• Track and manage project timelines and approval milestones to prevent delays.
• Coordinate with legal teams, engineers, and planning consultants to resolve entitlement challenges.
