Job summary

The Signorelli Company seeks a Staff Accountant to support land development accounting. You will prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and assist in monthly reporting and draw packages for lenders.

On-site position in The Woodlands, TX, requiring strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems. Public accounting background is preferred, with GAAP knowledge and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Public accounting experience preferred; land/homebuilding industry exposure is a plus.
• Proficiency with ERP accounting environments (NewStar/Landdev) and Vena; strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely journal entries for month-end close.
• Reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts and prepare draw packages for development funding.
• Assist in updating financial reports and annual tax filings as requested.
• Maintain banking access for entities across multiple institutions and process wire payments.
