Job summary

AMH is seeking a Land Development Project Manager to lead development projects from planning through delivery in our markets. You will manage budgets, schedules, and vendors, ensuring compliance with plans, codes, and approvals while coordinating with acquisitions for new land deals.

You will travel to site locations to inspect progress, resolve issues, and communicate status to leadership. A strong PM and CAD proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years in land development design and/or land development.
• Experience with CAD is a plus.
• All stormwater certifications are required.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• OSHA 30 certification and SWPPP knowledge.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Project and bidding software.

Responsibilities

• Travel between job sites to inspect progress and solve problems.
• Manage trade partners to execute development work per budget and schedule.
• Proactively resolve issues to keep projects on time and on budget.
• Secure final tract/plat acceptance with municipalities and agencies.
• Prepare bid packages, contracts, change orders, and related documents.
• Assist the Director, Land Development with schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate development budgets with Land Acquisition for new land deals.
• Communicate status updates to team and leadership; manage amenities construction.
