Job Description

Responsible for the overall success and supervision of residential, commercial, and industrial land development projects. Drives business development activities in conjunction with the firm’s annual objectives.

  • Prepares and monitors project budgets. Has overall responsibility for project profitability.
  • Ensures project schedules are met and projects are completed on time.
  • Develops design concepts, project plans, and specifications.
  • Prepares proposals for engineering services.
  • Coordinates and approves pricing, estimating, and strategies for projects.
  • Acts as a designated client contact and manages client relationships.
  • Prepares workload forecasts for the team.
  • Supervises and assigns tasks to technical staff.
  • Communicates with clients for feedback and directions.
  • Attends client meetings, including after-hours as needed.
  • Conducts site visits as required.
  • Manages work-in-progress, client billing, and accounts receivable.
  • Initiates business development activities.
  • Performs performance reviews and supports career development of team members.
  • Performs other related duties.

Requirements

Qualifications: Registered Professional Engineer with ten years of experience in land development projects.

Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.

Licenses & Certifications: PE license and valid driver’s license required.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Problem-solving, data collection, and analysis skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions and handle multiple variables.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD Civil 3D; Deltek is a plus.
  • Fluent in English.

Physical Demands: Normal office environment.
