Job summary

GCW Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Land Development Project Manager to provide administrative and technical leadership on engineering/construction projects from proposal through client acceptance. On-site work in Las Vegas, NV is required, with supervision of staff on project tasks.

The role involves coordinating with jurisdictions, managing scope, budget, and schedule, and reporting progress to clients. A BS in engineering and at least four years of relevant experience are required; Nevada PE

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in engineering required.
Minimum four (4) years of experience in engineering design and/or project management.
Nevada PE or ability to obtain within six months preferred.
Valid driver’s license; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

Oversee technical studies, submittals, plans, and design for public works and private developments.
Prepare initiation docs with detailed scope, budget, and schedule.
Coordinate with Director/Supervisor for approvals on plans and documents.
Coordinate with jurisdictional agencies on technical and procedural matters.
Ensure work complies with laws, budgets, and schedules; manage client communications.
Maintain project status reporting and respond promptly to client requests.
Supervise staff on project tasks and evaluate performance.
Identify new business opportunities with current clients or referrals.
