Job summary

GCW, Inc. seeks a Land Development Project Manager to provide administrative and technical management on engineering and construction projects, from proposal through client acceptance. You will plan, coordinate, and direct large and complex projects, supervising staff and ensuring adherence to budget, scope, and schedule.

Responsibilities include coordinating with agencies, preparing initiation documents, and maintaining client communication. Nevada PE preferred; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering; professional licensure or PE preferred.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Word/Excel/Project.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and ability to read and interpret technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Provides oversight of technical studies, submittals, plans, and general design for public works projects and private developments.
• Completes project initiation documents, including scope, budget, and schedule for completion.
• Coordinates with jurisdictional agencies on technical and procedural matters.
• Ensures work complies with engineering principles, standards, laws, and regulations; completes projects on time and within budget.
• Keeps clients informed of project status and provides management support to the project team.
• Contributes to recommendations for assigned and other projects as needed.
• Manages project costs, change notices, and reflects approved changes; reviews pre-bills for clients.
