Job summary

CPH is seeking a Civil/Environmental Engineer with 1–5 years of experience to join the Civil/Municipal department in Linthicum Heights, MD. The role involves design, permitting, and construction document preparation under a Professional Engineer, with opportunities for site investigations and coordination with stakeholders.

Compensation ranges from $60,000 to $80,000 per year, plus a hiring bonus of up to $1,000 for selected candidates.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil or Environmental engineering with 1–5 years of experience in design and permitting of civil/land development projects in Maryland.
• Ability to model stormwater, design and manage small to large scale land development projects, review code requirements, and manage schedules/budgets.
• E.I Certificate or ability to obtain upon starting is required.

Responsibilities

• Work under a Professional Engineer as part of a team designing and preparing technical reports, analyses, and construction documents.
• Prepare accurate presentations, designs, details, and construction documents.
• Prepare permit applications and submittal packages to agencies with jurisdiction.
• Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, permitting agencies, utilities, and contractors.
