Qualifications

Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Our client is actively seeking a Land Development, Project Engineer to join their land development practice based in Washington, District of Columbia.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in helping design various land development projects. Join us in our collaborative, inclusive, and energetic environment, where your leadership will shape the future of our land development practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support senior staff in preparing design and technical documentation throughout all project phases.
  • Contribute to site design efforts for a variety of land development projects, primarily using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Enhance design workflows and efficiency through effective use of Civil 3D software.
  • Assist in creating construction drawings and collaborate with internal teams to meet deadlines for site development projects, including layout, grading, geometry, utilities, and stormwater management for commercial, institutional, infrastructure, and transportation developments.
  • Participate in planning studies, as well as the preparation of preliminary and final design plans and project permitting documents.
  • Help develop erosion and sediment control plans, designing measures in compliance with applicable state regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience within the land development/site civil engineering field.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
  • In possession of or obtaining E.I.T.
  • Experience in AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
  • Have a passion for collaboration throughout the design and execution of projects.
