Qualifications

• 3 years of combined experience in the Home Building Industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Civil Engineering, Planning or Construction Management required.
• Ability to anticipate obstacles and propose favorable solutions.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to implementation and execution.
• Concise writing and public speaking/presentation skills desirable for reporting to management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development of company-owned property to meet business plans and financial objectives.
• Create and manage land development budgets and monitor invoices.
• Lead planning for subdivisions, permits, and approvals with jurisdictions.
• Direct civil engineers on improvement plans, final plats, and schedules.
• Prepare bid packages, negotiate contracts, and manage vendors/subcontractors.
• Schedule pre-construction and progress meetings; manage daily operations of trades.
• Coordinate with utility companies, easements, and plan preparations.
• Ensure compliance with plans and agency requirements during construction.
