Job summary

Arbor Homes is seeking a Land Development Project Manager to oversee development of finished lots for residential construction. You will coordinate contractors, schedules, budgets, and inspections while fostering a fast-paced, team-oriented culture in Indiana.

The role emphasizes collaboration with outside developers, budget discipline, and ensuring lots are ready for sales with compliant work processes. Arbor promotes growth and leadership development within a family-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
• Past experience in land development and/or project management related positions is important.
• Prefer 5-years of field related experience.
• Ability to learn quickly on the job.
• Ability to communicate effectively with contractors and peers.
• Experience with land development, including excavating, road construction, surveying, inspections, or city government planning and engineering would be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise subcontractors to ensure jobs are completed to the approved specifications and on time.
• Oversee the development performed by outside developers where Arbor purchases finished lots.
• Manage budgets and spending to minimize variance and deliver lots at projected costs.
• Project contractor schedules and manage the job so that lots are available when needed for sales.
• Coordinate with utilities and municipalities to complete necessary work and inspections.
• Manage jobsites to ensure compliance with all local and federal regulations.
