Job summary

David Evans and Associates invites interns to join the Land Development Civil Engineering team for Summer 2027 in Boise, ID, or other locations (Everett/ Woodinville). You will support site design, drainage, utilities, and permitting under experienced engineers and landscape architects.

Gain hands-on experience through mentorship on multidisciplinary projects, with flexible work arrangements and exposure to AutoCAD Civil 3D and drafting tasks.

Qualifications

• Assist with planning and design under guidance of experienced engineers.
• Support site layout, grading, drainage, utility, and construction plans.
• Develop and update drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and assist with documentation, cost estimates, and permitting efforts.
• Collaborate with project teams to support project delivery.
• Gain hands-on experience through mentorship and real-world engineering projects.

Responsibilities
