About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Land Development Engineer to join their growing team in Paarl . This role is integral to the planning and design of new developments, focusing on site layout, grading, drainage, and utility infrastructure. You will work closely with architects, surveyors, and planners to transform raw land into functional and aesthetically pleasing residential, commercial, or industrial spaces. Key Responsibilities

• Design site plans, including grading, drainage, erosion control, and utility layouts.
• Prepare stormwater management plans and obtain necessary permits.
• Coordinate with surveyors and architects to ensure accurate site design and implementation.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for potential development projects.
• Ensure designs comply with local zoning ordinances, building codes, and environmental regulations.
• Review construction plans and provide engineering support during the development process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration or ECSA eligibility is advantageous.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in land development engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and stormwater modeling software.
• Strong knowledge of local development regulations and environmental requirements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working effectively in a remote setting.
