Job summary

gpac is seeking a Land Development EIT to join a growing civil engineering firm in Rochester. You will contribute to site design on commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects from concept through permitting, under licensed PEs who will mentor you toward your license.

You will prepare site layouts and drainage plans in Civil 3D, run stormwater calculations, assemble permit packages, and support project managers with client coordination and site visits. A path to PE is provided.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering and EIT certification.
• 2-5 years of land development or site design experience.
• Strong skills in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• A plan to sit for the PE exam.

Responsibilities

• Prepare site layouts, grading, drainage, utility, and erosion control plans in Civil 3D.
• Run stormwater calculations and help write drainage reports.
• Put together permit packages for city, county, and state review.
• Support PMs with client coordination and site visits.
