Job summary

gpac is seeking a Project Engineer (EIT) in Texas to grow toward a Professional Engineer license on real projects. You will work with senior PEs on commercial, residential, and public works, gaining hands‑on design experience that accelerates licensure.

The firm emphasizes training, promotes from within, and offers a clear path toward Texas PE, with support for PE exam prep and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Texas EIT certification, or passed FE exam and eligible to register.
• 1-4 years of civil design experience (internships count).
• Working skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design site grading, drainage, paving, and water and sanitary sewer systems.
• Prepare plan sets, exhibits, and quantity estimates in Civil 3D.
• Run hydrologic and hydraulic calculations and help write drainage reports.
• Respond to municipal review comments and help move projects through permitting.
• Coordinate with surveyors, architects, and other consultants on project details.
• Visit sites to check existing conditions and support construction.
