Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Due Diligence Manager to provide risk analysis and budgets for land acquisitions, and to coordinate with multiple departments during opportunity evaluation. The role involves leading a team of consultants and internal staff, preparing schedules and feasibility reports, and supporting entitlements and development for new residential communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field preferred.
• Minimum five years in land development, PM, and/or land acquisition.
• Proficient in Excel-based financial modeling and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage due diligence efforts for potential land acquisitions, including feasibility studies, budgets, entitlements, development schedules, risk assessments, and title review.
• Own development of initial community entitlement documents, construction schedules, budgets, cash flow projections, and title reports.
• Coordinate with outside consultants and contractors for cost assessment, schedules, and development feasibility during due diligence.
• Prepare collateral materials (aerial photos, maps, exhibits, covers).
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and specialists to assess costs, risks, and timing.
• Engage with state and federal agencies to understand obligations and impacts.
• Manage third-party reports required for deals and ensure timely evaluation.
• Evaluate contracts, proposals and documents related to property development.
• Review and evaluate development plans for new communities.
• Research approvals/permits, zoning, engineering plans, costs, and environmental reports.
