Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Due Diligence Manager to lead land development evaluations and budgets for new residential communities. You will manage a team of consultants and internal staff to produce feasibility reports, schedules, and entitlements while coordinating with engineers, architects, and regulatory agencies.

The role emphasizes ownership of development documents, cost analysis, and risk assessment through the due diligence window.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in land development, project management, or land acquisition for real estate clients
• Bachelor’s or equivalent with emphasis in engineering, construction management, economics, finance, or related real estate field preferred
• Proficient in Excel and financial modeling; strong written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Manage due diligence efforts for land acquisitions, including feasibility studies, budgets, schedules, risk assessments, and title review
• Coordinate with outside consultants and internal teams to develop entitlements and development plans
• Review development plans, costs, and permits; ensure timely delivery of reports and documents
• Prepare collateral materials such as aerial photos, maps, and exhibits
• Engage with federal/state agencies to understand obligations and impacts on projects
• Maintain file databases and support the land department with data and reporting
