Job summary

LJA Land Development in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for the summer. This fully in‑person internship runs mid‑May through early August, Monday–Friday, 40 hours weekly, with hands‑on design support and real‑world project exposure.

You’ll be integrated into a team, tackling meaningful assignments and developing technical and professional skills to launch your career. As an intern, you’ll shadow engineers, participate in site visits, receive mentorship, and gain experience

Qualifications

• Completed at least one year of college and pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Strong work ethic, motivation, and willingness to learn.
• Good organizational and written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering assignments with direction from experienced engineers.
• Shadow operations and learn project phases.
• Handle unique tasks supporting larger projects and day‑to‑day activities.
• Engage in social events and mentorship programs while learning about services.
