Alliant Engineering, Inc. invites you to join its employee-owned firm as an Civil Engineering intern in Minneapolis, MN, from May 2027 through August 2027. You will contribute to a range of residential, commercial and industrial projects under mentorship.

You should be pursuing a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork. Familiarity with MS Office is expected; AutoCAD Civil 3D exposure is a plus in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preliminary and final design of projects.
• Perform design computations and analyses.
• Assist in the preparation of construction drawings, specifications and cost estimates.
• Coordinate design decisions with other engineering disciplines.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute work in a safe, timely, cost-effective and compliant manner.
