Kimley-Horn’s Raleigh office seeks a Civil Professional with 4+ years of experience to join the Land Development team in a non-remote, on-site role. You will perform site development engineering, manage projects, and contribute to permitting, design, and bid package preparation for residential and commercial projects.

Ideal candidates bring PE licensure (or progress toward it), strong AutoCAD Civil 3D skills, and demonstrated experience coordinating with clients, jurisdictions, and contractors

Qualifications

• 4+ years of engineering design experience in land development.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Experience with site civil design, permitting, and software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Experience with task management, concept design, and supporting project management tasks.
• Strong client coordination, meetings, and quality oversight capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Perform site development engineering and project management for residential and commercial projects.
• Lead land development site designs and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Assist in budgets, schedules, permitting, and bid package preparation.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, jurisdictions, and contractors.
• Build plan sets and construction documents.
