Job summary
Kimley-Horn is seeking engineering graduates to join our Charlotte, North Carolina office in 2026. This is not a remote position.
You will utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients, and contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects. Analysts will learn software programs specific to their disciplines, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro
Qualifications
- ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2026.
- Majors include Civil and/or Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
Responsibilities
- Utilize technical software programs to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
- Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
- Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize clients’ visions.
- Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, and with Kimley-Horn’s practices and standards.
- Learn software programs specific to disciplines (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, MicroStation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and GIS).
