Job summary

Permian Resources is seeking a Land Tech reporting to the Land Lead in Midland, Texas. You will collaborate with the Land and Business Development teams on deal evaluation, transactions, and onboarding of new assets.

You will manage tech-level responsibilities on deals from start to onboarding and organize VDR data during the evaluation process. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work on a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of Oil and Gas practices and policies.
• Experience with Land systems such as Quorum, Drilling Info, DocVue, ExecuteAFE.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrated integrity in work product and dealing with coworkers.
• Strong attention to detail and flexibility with workload and priorities.
• Basic research skills for reviewing multiple data sources.

Responsibilities

• Work with Asset Land and Business Development on deal evaluation and onboarding.
• Manage Tech level responsibilities on deals from start to onboarding.
• Organize VDR data and date updates during evaluation process.
• Collaborate with BD land to create exhibits and schedules.
• Conduct SLO/BLM transfers on inbound assets.
• Surface ROW transfers on inbound assets.
• Data integration from BD to other PR departments.
• Maintain diligence tracking and documentation.
• Support miscellaneous items related to deal evaluation and transaction management.

Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Land Tech reporting to the Land Lead in Midland, Texas. This position will work with the Land and Business Development departments on all facets of deal evaluation and transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical as well as communication skills and be able to contribute his/her expertise while working on multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

General Responsibilities

• Work alongside Asset Land and Business Development teams on deal evaluation, transactions and onboarding of new assets
• Manage Tech level responsibilities on deals from start all the way through onboarding
• Manage and organize VDR data and date updates during evaluation process
• Work closely alongside BD land in creation of applicable exhibits and schedules
• SLO/BLM Transfers on inbound assets
• Surface ROW transfers on inbound assets
• Data integration from BD to other PR departments
• Consent tracking and diligence organization
• Other miscellaneous items associated with deal evaluation and transaction management

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma, bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of Oil and Gas practices and policies and can apply that knowledge to the work
• Experience working within Land systems and applications such as: Quorum, Drilling Info, DocVue, ExecuteAFE
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrated integrity in work product and in dealing with coworkers
• Strong attention to detail and flexible regarding workload and priorities
• Basic research skills with regard to reviewing multiple data sources to find specific information

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-3 Years Oil & Gas experience
