Job summary

Responsibilities

• Work with Asset Land and Business Development teams on deal evaluation, transactions and onboarding of new assets.
• Manage Tech level responsibilities on deals from start through onboarding.
• Organize VDR data and updates during the evaluation process.
• Collaborate with BD Land to create exhibits and schedules for deals.

Job Description:Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Business Development (BD) Land Tech reporting to the Staff Landman in Midland, Texas. This position will work with the Land and Business Development departments on all facets of deal evaluation and transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical as well as communication skills and be able to contribute his/her expertise while working on multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.General ResponsibilitiesWork alongside Asset Land and Business Development teams on deal evaluation, transactions and onboarding of new assetsManage Tech level responsibilities on deals from start all the way through onboardingManage and organize VDR data and date updates during evaluation processWork closely alongside BD land in creation of applicable exhibits and schedulesSLO/BLM Transfers on inbound assetsSurface ROW transfers on inbound assetsData integration from BD to other PR departmentsConsent tracking and diligence organizationOther miscellaneous items associated with deal evaluation and transaction managementMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experienceBasic knowledge of Oil and Gas practices and policies and can apply that knowledge to the workStrong organizational and time management skillsDemonstrated integrity in work product and in dealing with coworkersStrong attention to detail and flexibility regarding workload and prioritiesBasic research skills with regard to reviewing multiple data sources to find specific informationPreferred Qualifications3-5 Years Oil & Gas experienceExperience working within Land systems and applications such as: Quorum, Drilling Info, DocVue, ExecuteAFE, etc…Permian Resource is an equal opportunity employer.
