Job summary

BluEarth Renewables seeks a Land Agreements Specialist to manage the lifecycle of land contracts for renewable energy projects in Canada and the U.S. You will coordinate payments, obligations, and timely execution of documents.

The role requires three years of land agreement experience, strong communication, and collaboration with internal teams, counsel and external providers. On-site work in the California region may be required as projects progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of direct experience coordinating or administering land agreements for renewable energy projects.
• Experience across Canadian and U.S. jurisdictions is an asset.
• Experience reviewing land agreements for material issues, title reviews, and due diligence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead land payment process, validate obligations, resolve discrepancies and process payments on time.
• Administer contract records and obligation tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
• Draft and coordinate land agreements across Canadian and U.S. jurisdictions with counsel as needed.
• Review title commitments and related documents, escrow material issues and prepare title curative documents.
• Coordinate registration of land interests across jurisdictions with legal counsel and providers.
• Manage foreign ownership compliance declarations and filings in Canada and the U.S.
• Represent Land team at project meetings and provide practical input on land matters.
• Uphold BluEarth's Health, Safety and Environmental policies and company values.
• Other duties as required.
