Job summary

Williams Companies, Inc. is seeking a seasoned land records professional to manage the land database, perform data entry, and generate critical reports. You will lead due diligence on land files during asset transactions and mentor teammates in a dynamic energy environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required with a minimum of six years in land records management or title specialist roles.
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational and safety practices and proficiency with Office software.

Responsibilities/Expectations:
  • Serves as super-user and specialist of the company land database; including data entry, preparing reports and providing training
  • Accounts for calculations related to all payments and other financial obligations
  • Mentors others and serves as an industry specialist
  • Leads due diligence efforts on coordinating the land files when considering acquisition or disposition of assets
  • Prepares sophisticated legal descriptions and drawings
  • Prepares applications for permits, licenses, and renewals
  • Analyzes land rights and obligations pertaining to abandonment and retirement of pipeline and facility assets
  • Other duties as assigned
Education/Years of Experience:
  • Required: High school diploma/GED and a minimum of six (6) years' experience in land records management/data management systems and title specialist
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in business or related field
