As a Land Acquisition Analyst with Ryan Homes, an NVR company, you will assist the land acquisition department in analyzing and acquiring raw land or finished lots. Responsibilities include conducting land use analyses, due diligence (concept land planning, environmental, utility, and title analysis), and supporting the acquisition process.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Maintain a database of uncontrolled development in the municipal approvals process.
2. Identify new opportunities from municipal rezoning and infrastructure improvements.
3. Use GIS software to identify target parcels and contact landowners.
4. Perform resale and new home comparable analyses.
5. Conduct community positioning analyses for new acquisitions and existing communities.
6. Coordinate analytics for corporate approval of acquisitions.
7. Visit sites to understand the competitive market and analyze pricing, features, and costs.
8. Learn negotiation and contracting for land and lots.

Qualifications:

1. Master's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Urban Planning, Real Estate Development, or related field preferred; or 1-2 years of relevant experience.
2. Future relocation availability is a plus.
