Easterseals NH, Inc. is hiring a Lancaster School and Residence Cook I to support residential and educational programs for youth in Lancaster, NH. The role centers on cooking and meal preparation with a focus on safety and quality in a facility serving youth.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage, PTO, holidays, retirement match, tuition assistance, student loan repayment and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience cooking in a camp, school, residential program or other food service setting.
• Serve Safe certification is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook or serve dinner for clients and staff according to the menu plan.
• Provide good customer service to clients and staff.
• Clean the kitchen after preparation and serving while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Follow proper food safety guidelines and SOPs.
• Maintain storage and rotation of stock; label and date food.
• Other duties as needed.

Our clinical support is designed to meet the need of our youth with neurological and or psychiatric disabilities and intellectual and behavioral challenges. Children and their families are supported through programs designed to meet their specific needs.This position is responsible for cooking and meal preparation in a facility that provides Residential and Educational programs to a youth population.**Qualifications:*** 1 year of experience as a cook at a camp, school, residential program or other food service establishment* Serve safe certification is preferred but not required* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation**Responsibilities include:*** Preparing, cooking or serving dinner for clients and staff according to the menu plan and schedule* Providing good customer service to our clientele and staff* Cleaning of the kitchen after preparation and serving while maintaining high standard of cleanliness.
