Job summary

Easterseals NH in New Hampshire is seeking a dedicated cook to support residential and educational programs for youth ages 5-21. You will prepare, cook, and serve meals per the menu plan, and ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen.

The role emphasizes customer service to clients and staff, adherence to food safety guidelines, and proper storage practices. A valid driver’s license and a year of cooking experience are preferred, with full-time hours and a comprehensive

• 1 year of experience as a cook at a camp, school, residential program or other food service establishment.
• Serve safe certification is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, cooking or serving dinner for clients and staff according to the menu plan and schedule.
• Providing good customer service to our clientele and staff.
• Cleaning of the kitchen after preparation and serving while maintaining high standard of cleanliness.
• Following proper food safety guidelines and standard SOPs.
• Maintaining proper storage and rotation of stock. Labeling and dating of food.
• Other duties as needed

Job Description:Easterseals residential facilities provide 24-hour support to youth ages 5-21. Our clinical support is designed to meet the need of our youth with neurological and or psychiatric disabilities and intellectual and behavioral challenges.
