Easter Seals New Hampshire, Inc. is hiring a Housekeeper at our Lancaster Intensive Residential Treatment program. The role involves general housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean, and orderly facility for children and adolescents in our care.

You will perform cleaning, laundry, and floor care, operate cleaning equipment, and report safety or maintenance concerns to the appropriate department. A valid driver’s license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance that meets our coverage requirements.
• Prior cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping duties to keep the facility safe, clean and orderly.
• Maintain and clean housekeeping equipment; report safety and maintenance concerns.
• Perform cleaning, janitorial, laundry, and floor care tasks as required.
• Report any cross-contamination issues to supervisor and initiate corrective actions.

Job Description:We are looking for a Housekeeper to join our team! This position is located at Easterseals Lancaster Intensive Residential Treatment program. The program is designed to provide intensive level care to children and adolescents that are emotionally handicapped, learning disabled, developmentally delayed or physically handicapped.In this role, the successful candidate will join a team who performs general housekeeping duties ensuring that the facility is kept in a safe, clean and orderly condition.Responsibilities also include:Ensuring proper cleaning and maintenance of housekeeping equipment.Observing safety rules and use safety equipment provided.Reporting safety and maintenance concerns to maintenance department.Performing cleaning, janitorial, laundry, and/or floor care services to meet specific performance obligations.Reporting any cross contamination issues to supervisor to initiate corrective measures.Qualifications:High school education or GEDValid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance that meets our coverage requirements.Prior cleaning experience preferredAll Easterseals employees are subject to a background check, including criminal records.Compensation: $15 per hour.Hours: Full Time; Monday-Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm OR 6:00am-2:30pm if preferredWhat’s in it for you?
