Sea Pro Boats is seeking a Lamination Technician to join our lamination department in a hands-on, team-based role. You will handle rolling, spraying, prep work, and gel coat-related tasks to prepare fiberglass for molding.

Follow SOPs, mix catalysts, apply resin layers, and place precut fiberglass on prepared molds. Maintain safety standards and perform other duties as assigned in a busy manufacturing environment.

Qualifikationen

• Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Teamwork and communication skills.
• Safety-conscious with knowledge of workplace safety standards.
• Ability to stand and lift up to 50 lbs and use hand/power tools.

Aufgaben

• Follow lamination processes per SOP.
• Mix catalysts into resins.
• Saturate cloth and mats with resin using brushes.
• Apply resin layers to mold surfaces to the required thickness.
• Place precut fiberglass strips on prepared molds.
• Pat and press layers to bond, smoothing wrinkles and air bubbles.
• Maintain safety training and adhere to PPE requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
