Responsibilities

  • Reads, interprets, understands and efficiently performs multiple lamination operations by following work instructions, safety guidelines and other organizational policies, procedures, and rules.
  • Laminates layers of fiberglass on molds to form boat decks and hulls.
  • Sprays chopped fiberglass, resins, and catalysts onto prepared molds or dies using pneumatic spray guns.
  • Presses layers of saturated mat or cloth into place on molds, smoothing wrinkles and air bubbles.
  • Follows Total Productive Maintenance to maintain equipment and minimize downtime; cleans tools and disposes of chemicals properly.
