Job summary

• 12 months of manufacturing or machine-operating experience.
• Basic math and reading skills to follow blueprints, work orders, or job tickets in English.

Responsibilities

• Machine Setup: Prepare the laminator by setting edge guides, adjusting tension, speed, temperature, and pressure, and threading films or raw materials.
• Material Handling: Load rolls, plastic films, foils, or fabrics, and select or mix proper adhesives for the production run.
• Operation & Monitoring: Run test samples, monitor the machine during production, and adjust settings to prevent bubbles, wrinkles, or alignment errors.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they match customer specifications and safety standards.
• Maintenance & Safety: Perform routine equipment maintenance, troubleshoot minor repairs, keep the work area clean, and follow safety rules like wearing protective gear.
• Record Keeping: Complete production logs, track material usage, and record any downtime or scrap.
