Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring for an assembly line manufacturing role in Lexington, NC. The job pays $16.00 per hour and involves fabricating and assembling components for final window assemblies, with supervision on an active production line.

You will operate hand and power tools, adhere to safety procedures, and meet lifting requirements. The role may include cross-training across departments and standing for long shifts on concrete floors.

• Assemble building material components on an assembly line under supervision.
• Insert, position, clamp, splice, fit parts, and use hand/power tools.
• Follow all safety procedures to prevent injuries.
• Meet lifting requirements: 20–40 lbs frequent, 40–50 lbs occasional.
• Cross-train across multiple functions and departments.
• Stand or walk on concrete for up to a 10-hour shift.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Fabricate and produce component parts for the final assembly of windows.
• Assemble building material components on an assembly line under direct supervision.
• Insert, position, clamp, splice, fit parts, and use hand and power tools.
• Observe all safety procedures to prevent injury to self or co‑workers.
• Meet lifting requirements: lift 20–40 lbs frequently; 40–50 lbs occasionally.
• Cross‑train across multiple functions and departments.
• Stand or walk on concrete floor for up to a ten‑hour shift.
