Job summary

POLYTEX FIBERS CORPORATION in Houston, TX seeks a Lamination Material Handler to efficiently move and store raw materials for the lamination process, while ensuring inventory accuracy and safety.

The role requires adherence to GMPs/HACCP, basic device maintenance, and the ability to read and write in English or Spanish. On-site position with exposure to manufacturing environments and PPE usage.

Qualifications

• Must have general knowledge of packaging equipment principles and provide basic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Good Housekeeping standards.
• Report any incident or unsafe condition to supervisor immediately.
• Accurately store and move materials, rolls, and PVC cores safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of PVC cores.
• Properly dispose of scrap materials and keep the area clean and organized.
• Adapt to changing priorities and workloads as needed.
• Responsible for plant sanitation and monitoring GMP/HACCP action plans.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
